Connectd.AI, formerly known as TacosTogether, commenced its journey as a not-for-profit venture aimed at fostering meaningful relationships through relaxed, low-pressure networking events. Their mission was to seamlessly blend personal and professional interactions, epitomized by their mantra: ""Good conversation + good tacos = winning combination."
As TacosTogether aspired to elevate their community-building initiatives, APG Software Solutions was entrusted with the task of developing a robust digital platform to encapsulate their ethos and operational dynamics. Our collaboration marked the inception of a sophisticated web application that would later rebrand as Connectd.AI, a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform.

1. Custom Development from Scratch:
Our adept team at AG Software Solutions meticulously engineered the platform from ground up, ensuring a seamless user experience and operational efficiency.
2. User-centric Functionalities:
We implemented intuitive login/sign-up procedures, differentiated user roles for general users, event hosts, and site administrators, and crafted static pages for a seamless navigation experience.
3. Event Management Ecosystem:
A robust suite of event creation, management, and listing features were developed, alongside a dedicated portal for hosts to manage orders, scan tickets via QR codes for attendance tracking, and amend event details as required.
4. AI-Powered User Profiling and Matching:
Using OpenAI embeddings, we can analyse user profiles and activity on Connectd.AI to develop intricate user personality and preference profiles.These embeddings can capture nuances in user interactions, preferences, and engagement patterns, offering a deep understanding of each user.
5. Vector Database Integration Using Pinecone:
We use Pinecone, a serverless vector database, to store and manage these complex user profile embeddings. This database excels at handling similarity searches, which is crucial for effective matchmaking algorithms.
6. Administrative Dashboard:
An all-encompassing admin dashboard was created for Connectd.AI personnel to monitor platform statistics and user engagement, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
7. Seamless Third-party Integrations:
The platform was integrated with industry stalwarts like Sendgrid, Stripe, and Google APIs to ensure a holistic and enriched user experience.
